CATEGORY D2: COURT HOUSES

 

The Statute Law Revision Programme considers the instruments in this category to be suitable for revocation.

 

This category consists of orders appointing court houses in places around Ireland to be used for court sessions. The instruments were made pursuant to section 1 of the Court Houses (Ireland) Act 1840 (3 & 4 Vict.) c. 102. This section of the Court Houses (Ireland) Act 1840 remains in force.

 

The Statute Law Revision Programme consulted with the Department of Justice and the Courts Service on the instruments in this category. The Department and the Courts Service agreed that the instruments were suitable for revocation.
